Caked onto the sides of the home is a slip made from the clay that lay underneath the plush native grasses of the foundation of my childhood home in West Virginia,  dug from my childhood home with the help of my father. Tiles made of that same clay cover the sides of the home,  impressed with the faint pattern of textiles from my grandmothers. Inside each window is an image transfer of hands that held me as a child.
